Fire Safety Week at Kensington Elementary School -
October 9, 2009
Members of the Waxhaw VFD visited seven kindergarten
classes at Kensington Elementary School during fire
safety week. They taught the children about fire safety,
the importance of having in-home fire drills, showed
them what a firefighter looks like when dressing in
their gear and gave them a tour of the fire engine.
